Berlin is a city full of trendy folks, as is the party scene. There might be some place only a handful of people know about. Out of a sudden it gets trendy and everybody wants to go there. Other places used to be THE shit for years but people lost interest. Berlin folks are constantly searching for new trend spots. Clubs and parties open up, close down, become trendy, lose trendyness, it’s the circle of Berlin nightlife. This weekend we say Adieu to a party, celebrate another club’s birthday and watch our former favourite hipster party transform (successfully) into a commercial project. Times are changing, let’s party.
Arm & Sexy / Restaurant Zenner / Alt-Treptow 14-17 / 23.00 / Berlin
Lineup: Niels & Xavier Mazzarol, Bodo Volke & Joris Larochelle…
This party existed for 7 years. Now they are saying goodbye at Eierschale Zenner, this cute-weird location in Treptower Park!
Vier / Griessmühle / Sonnenallee 221 / 24.00 / Berlin
Lineup: Jerome Sydenham, Abayomi, Morah…
4 years of Griessmühle? Are they really that old? Once again we notice how time flies. Well, not tonight cause this party goes on for two days, enough time to take a shower, have some brunch and get back there once again.
I Love Engtanz / Prinz Charles / Prinzenstr 85f / 22.00 / Berlin
Lineup: DJ Schowi, Lee Stuart…
So what used to be Berlin Mitte’s cutest pick-up party is now a big commercial evening with folks from all over Berlin, especially Zehlendorf as it seems. But if you’re up for some slowdance trash or Oldschool R&B (on the second floor) and want to pull someone, this is definetely your place. And honestly, who doesn’t like these heart-balloons?!
