This week is gonna bring us exciting stuff, daily updates on exhibitions, parties and other shamboish occasions to leave the house in Berlin and London:
I. Very special pearls of the week: Berlin
THE WARRIORS is one of THE films having gained cult status. The clothes, the music, the setting. You have never actually watched The Warriors? Yeah, shame.
You now have the chance at cosy vintage store/cafe Sing Blackbird in Neukoelln’s Sanderstr., coming Thursday 8 pm. Also Thursday: PLANNINGTOROCK releases an album and her concert at Berghain will be followed by an afterparty at the Kantine.
West Berlin Gallery is participating in Stroke 2011. The urban art fair will take place at Berlin Postbahnhof from Friday to Sunday. The Kreuzberg based gallery presents artworks by their Berlin-based star artists Alias and Prost, including some new pieces as well as brand new, limited edition artworks on paper by Alias and that of new artists.
The Fountain Of Youth is spreading again on Saturday, this time late at night at Stattbad Wedding, where former Villa maker Schlechtboy has gathered his personal electronic elite to lead you into the land of dreams followed by what we call a decent after hour…
II: Special Pearl in London:
NO DAYZE ALL-dayer on Saturday at The Macbeth with Drums of Death, Solarbears, Andy Hung Dj, Maria and the Mirrors Dj and more. Expect a gross amount of noise, a rainbow full of sweat and a whole lot of positive aggression. 70 Hoxton Street, 10 at the door (pounds).
