Heart attack galore. News of Modular People: Tame Impala, Van She and The Presets.. My yearlong followership began at legendary Berlin based Rio Club – predecessor – Scala, where I was hanging out behind the cash desk to be able to pay my University fees when that guy came along and gave me a bunch of free cds of Modular. I than forgot to put them on the table so people would take it. Eventually I took them home, handing out free cds as presents to my peeps during the whole summer. I fell in love with Modular that summer in 2009, listening to Tame Impala and Ladyhawke. Now The Presets have a new video, also Tame Impala are back and Van She just released their album. Magic shit.

Herzkasper galore. Es gibt News aus dem Hause Modular. Tame Impala, Van She und die Presets. Meine jahrelange Anhängerschaft des Hauses Modular begann 2009 auf einer Party im mittlerweile geschlossenen, legendären Rio Club-Nachfolger Scala, wo ich phlegmatisch hinter der Clubkasse stand, um meine Studienkasse aufzubessern, als ein Typ antrabte und mir einen Stapel Free – Cds von Modular in die Hand drückte. Leider entwickelte sich die Party plötzlich enorm und ich vergaß, die guten Stücke auf den Kassenpult zu legen, auf dass sie sich jemand wegnehmen würde. Später nahm ich den Stapel notgedrungen mit nach Hause und beglückte in der Folgezeit meine Freunde mit den Freebies. Das Ding, mit einem Tame Impala Remix beginnend und Ladyhawke war auch dabei, es entwickelte sich zu meinem Sommerbegleiter. Nun haben die Presets ein neues Video, Tame Impala lassen auch etwas von sich hören und Van She haben ihr Album draußen. Ich sch… mich an, aber so richtig.
